Are these fitted boat seat covers or universal?

Accepted Answer

These are made to fit boat seats the same way car seat covers fit a car seat. They are adjustable and stretchy in order to fit more types of boat seats. This is why we say the words "fitted" and "universal".

Question 2

Will these boat seat covers slide off the seat like regular boat seat covers / Will they fly off?

Accepted Answer

No. The fitted designs + the belts and buckles secure the cover to the seat. The top portion may "flap" in the wind on the way to the boat ramp; however, the bottom portion is what actually secures it to the seat. To prevent the top from flapping, you can add hook-and-loop strips to the cover and your seat. Please ensure the strips will not damage your seats before adding them.

Are the boat seat covers waterproof?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The neoprene we elected to construct the covers with, double-cell neoprene, is the same type of material used in wetsuits. However, if they are exposed to a substantial amount of water, due to the armrest openings and minuscule openings in the stitching,  the covers will need to be removed from the seats to allow them to fully dry when you are done using them.

What is the difference between these and traditional boat seat covers?

Traditional boat seat covers are made for storage only. Our boat seat covers are made for year-round seat protection. They protect your seats from UV damage, mold, scratches, holes, tears, etc. They also cover existing flaws, replacing expensive reupholstery.

Not only that, our boat seat covers provide the user with a level of comfort that is unmatched by other boat seat covers. Since ours are fitted, they are meant to be sat on. They protect the seat and the user from heat, cold, and water.

Question 6

Are the boat seat covers washable?

Accepted Answer

Yes! To prolong the integrity of the neoprene, we suggest handwashing them in cool water with mild detergent. However, you can wash them in the washing machine with mild detergent on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry.
