About MJSC Boat Seat Covers
MJSC Boat Seat Covers started in 2023 as Alford Fishing, built around a simple problem: boat seats don’t hold up to real use.
Sun cooks them. Heat makes them miserable. Covers slip, trap moisture, or fall apart. We tried what was out there — and it didn’t work the way it should.
So we built our own.
After testing different materials, neoprene stood out. It handled heat better, stayed comfortable in cold weather, and held up to everyday wear. From there, it came down to fit. I taught myself how to sew and worked through multiple designs, dialing in the stretch, shape, and attachment system until the cover stayed put — no sliding, no bunching, no gimmicks.
Then we tested them the only way that matters: on the water. In the sun. Day after day.
The difference was obvious. Seats stayed cooler. Protection actually lasted. Even at home, the reaction was immediate — the kids claimed them as their own before we ever talked about selling them.
That’s when this stopped being a personal fix and became a real product.
We applied for a patent, partnered with a manufacturer, and launched MJSC Boat Seat Covers to bring a fitted, neoprene seat cover to boat owners who actually use their boats.
Every cover is built to:
-
Protect seats from heat, UV, moisture, and wear
-
Stay on securely like a car seat cover
-
Perform year-round in real conditions
No shortcuts. No throwaway materials. Just a solution built, tested, and refined the hard way.

Neoprene isn’t just comfortable — it performs.
We tested multiple materials before settling on neoprene because it handled real boating conditions better than anything else we tried.
Here’s why it works:
-
Temperature control
Neoprene stays cooler in direct sun and provides insulation in colder weather, making it comfortable year-round.
-
Durable by design
It resists cracking, tearing, and breakdown caused by UV exposure, heat, and moisture.
-
Water-resistant & quick-drying
Unlike fabric covers, neoprene doesn’t soak and stay wet, helping protect seats from moisture damage.
-
Stretch with structure
Neoprene stretches to fit while holding its shape, allowing the cover to stay secure without slipping or bunching.
-
Made for movement
It’s built to flex, handle vibration, and hold up to constant use — not just sit still in a garage.
Neoprene is the same material trusted in marine and outdoor applications for a reason. We chose it because it works — and keeps working.
