Our covers fit many standard bass boat and fishing boat seats, but they will not fit every seat size, shape, or installation setup.
 
Standard Installation Requirement
The standard installation requires accessible space behind the seat or backrest so the attachment strap can pass behind the seat and secure underneath.
 
Before ordering, check behind your seat to make sure there is enough space to route the strap.
 
If your seat does not have accessible space behind it, the MJSC Alternate Installation Kit may provide another option for certain seat styles.
 
A discounted add-on price is applied at checkout when the Alternate Installation Kit is purchased with a seat cover.

Quick Fit Reference
This cover is usually a good fit for:
✔ Standard bass boat seats
✔ Seats similar in width and thickness to an average car seat without a headrest
✔ Seats with accessible space behind the backrest
 
This cover may be too small for:
✘ Oversized captain’s chairs
✘ Wide or heavily padded truck-style seats
✘ Seats much wider or thicker than an average car seat
 
If your seat is much narrower or thinner, the cover may have a more relaxed fit and appearance.

Optional Top Stabilizer Strap
The lower attachment system secures the cover to the seat.
Depending on the seat shape, the upper portion may move or flap during highway travel or windy conditions. The optional MJSC Top Stabilizer Strap connects the upper and lower straps to reduce movement and add support.
 
Care and Cleaning
For best results:
Hand-wash with mild soap
Rinse thoroughly
Air-dry completely
Do not place in the dryer
The cover may be machine-washed on a gentle cycle when necessary, but hand-washing is recommended to help preserve the neoprene, straps, buckles, and stitching.
 
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the cover waterproof?
The closed-cell neoprene is highly water-resistant, but the finished cover is not completely watertight because moisture can enter through stitching and openings.
 
Will it make my seat less hot?
The neoprene creates a barrier between you and sun-heated vinyl. The cover may still become warm in direct sunlight, but it takes the sting out of sitting directly on hot vinyl.
 
Can it cover damaged upholstery?
Yes. It can conceal fading, stains, cracks, and cosmetic wear. It will not repair severe damage or replace missing padding.
 
What if I’m unsure about fit?
Compare your seat measurements with the product measurements and confirm that there is accessible space behind the seat.
